Reg’s background includes being a heavy techie, an author, a columnist, an entrepreneur, and a businessman. He has used this experience to manage resources, develop business plans, and assist companies find funding. His specialty is developing business solutions by using technology combined with marketing experience and expertise. He has assisted clients empower themselves to better understand their markets and how to deal with them. His clients have included Internet startups, wholesalers, software manufacturers, market research firms, computer hardware manufacturers, financial institutes, and universities.

Besides the business and marketing end of things, Reg has been interested in standards and C++ standardization in particular. He has been a member of the ANSI/ISO X3J16 Standards Committee for 10 years. Prior to that, he helped develop standards for program design and helped author the Canadian Standards Z243.1.
