Steve is the author of numerous technical articles on C++ programming
techniques and compiler design, is the author of C++ Common Knowledge
(Addison-Wesley, 2005), C++ Gotchas (Addison-Wesley, 2003), and is the
co-author of Programming in C++ (Prentice Hall, 1989, second edition
1995).
He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences such as Software
Development, and was a contributing editor for The C/C++ User's
Journal. Steve has mentored and consulted with projects ranging in
size from 1 to over 100 developers, in areas ranging from system
software to embedded telecommunications to ecommerce to derivative
securities trading. Steve is also a principal lecturer at The C++
Seminar.
Steve's consulting company is Semantics Consulting, Inc., where Steve is co-founder and president.
